About
Breastfed babies often times need to take a bottle too! Some babies need supplementation of expressed breastmilk due to not feeding well or maybe mom will be returning to work. Optimal timing to offer a bottle is around 3 weeks of age (2-4 weeks) once breastfeeding is well established, but before baby's suck reflex has integrated. Here's a video of how to pace feed your breastfeed baby to help them to be able to control the flow of milk and prevent over feeding. If you need help giving your baby a bottle or have questions contact us!
